Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue have also announced an extensive Fall headline tour that kicks off September 14 at ACL Live in Austin, Texas, and includes two nights at Terminal 5 in New York City (October 13-14). Following up on the album release show Monday April 24 in NYC at the Bowery Ballroom, this Saturday, April 29 the band will electrify the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans with their annual Treme Threauxdown.
Trombone Shorty will also perform at his Foundation’s Shorty Fest on May 4 at the House of Blues New Orleans and on May 7 at the 2017 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, where he has inherited the festival’s prestigious closing set in the legacy of great New Orleans artists like the Neville Brothers and Professor Longhair.
