
Trombone Shorty is featured in The Louisiana Office of Tourism and The Louisiana Bicentennial Commission's Sunshine By The Stars: Celebrating Louisiana Music. The program will air Sunday, December 9, 2012 on WLAE-TV and LPB at 7pm CT. Louisiana Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne and Harry Connick, Jr. partnered with Louisiana Public Broadcasting on the project which features some of the state's biggest stars performing their own versions of "You Are My Sunshine" (recognized as one of the state's songs). In addition to Trombone Shorty, some of the greats featured on the program include: Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Guy, The Marsalis Family, Harry Connick, Jr., Irma Thomas, Tim McGraw and Rebirth Brass Band.
